K&N Engineering has released a new air intake system, part number 57-1549 for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 liter V8 engine and the 2006 and 2007 Jeep Commander 5.7 liter V8 engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show an estimated 15.30 horsepower gain @ 5046 RPM. The chrome top K&N air filter
(RF-1048) sits behind a powder coated steel heat shield which helps isolate it from the rest of the engine compartment. This combination allows for a steady supply of unrestricted airflow to reach the Jeep's engine providing an instant performance gain with no other modifications necessary.
