Qualifying for the 200 lap 105.2 mile race begins October 20 at 11:10 a.m. EST.

“I’ve come close to winning at Martinsville a couple of times in the Truck Series,” said Kvapil. “I grew up short track racing on half-miles in late models. I always feel comfortable going to Martinsville, it’s a demanding race and it’s very hard on equipment, but I feel it’s a race we have a chance to win.”

The No.6 K&N Filters Team will be bringing chassis RK330-45 to Martinsville. This chassis last raced at Loudon, where Kvapil started third and finished 15th.

“Travis has always run well at Martinsville,” said crew chief Mike Beam. “We’ll head there looking to win this race. We had a strong truck in the spring, but we got caught behind when we decided to pit late in the race and the cautions kept coming. We know that our chances for the championship are basically gone, so we’ll look to win as many races as we can in the final five of the season.”

SPEED-TV will cover the race. Check your local guide for times.
