During the 16-lap race, Jake Holden led the first five laps while Rapp was running in 3rd place. Holden did not finish the race, but Rapp made up for it by picking up his and team’s best result of the season with a 4th place finish.
“This was a great way to finish off the season,” said Rapp. “The Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000 was running great and it was good to be up front for the race. We’ve made a lot of progress this year.”
Teammate Jason Pridmore did not compete in the Superstock event. He decided to save his strength in his right broken ankle to focus on the AMA Superbike event, where he finished in 5th place.
