On Friday, Allard qualified sixth with the K&N Filters, Red Line Oil No.0 and ended up with the outside row number two starting spot for the 30-lap feature. “We use K&N Engineering Oil and Air Filters along with K&N’s Carbon Fiber Air Box,” said Allard. “K&N makes the best products, the oil and air filters are easy to use and maintain. We just wash, assemble and race and we never have to worry about performance.”

Allard made his move early in the feature and took the lead in one turn. There were numerous cautions and the pace began to slow. At lap 20 Brad Sweet took back the lead, but another caution stopped the race again. Roger Crockett was able to get by Allard for second place. When the white flag came up Allard was out of fuel but managed to make it across the line. He fell from third to seventh on the final lap.

On Saturday, Allard was 28th in the qualifying order but moved his way through lapped traffic to pick up the win and gain five points toward the championship. Allard leads the Golden State Challenge Series point standings by three digits over Sean Becker.

Williams Motorsports heads to Placerville Speedway for Round 5 in the GSC next Saturday.
