After a third place finish in the opening heat race he had a tough draw in the dash. Allard went on to a seventh place finish in the eight lap contest. This put him on the inside of the fourth row for the 30-lap feature.

The 31-year-old racer moved his way forward in the main event and crossed the line in fourth place after a 30 lap race. “Once I made it to fourth I figured I’d play it safe,” said Allard. “I stayed on the bottom where the track was in the best shape.”

Allard will race the K&N Filters No. 0 Saturday, March 22 when the Golden State Challenge Series invades the high banks of Placerville Speedway.

“We use K&N Engineering Oil and Air Filters along with K&N’s Carbon Fiber Air Box,” said Allard. “K&N makes the best products, the oil and air filters are easy to use and maintain. We just wash, assemble and race and we never have to worry about performance. We depend on K&N.”
