Curt LeDuc finished ninth in Saturday’s Pro 4 race. On Sunday, the steering in his Ford broke at the start of the 16-lap feature. “This was my worst weekend in five years,” said Curt LeDuc. “We’re just running these trucks harder than we’ve ever run them and we’re going to have to change some of the preparation procedures.”

Despite the disappointing race results, only Curt LeDuc lost a position in the point standings, dropping from sixth to ninth in the Pro 4 Class. There were also a lot of mechanical problems for many other teams at Chula Vista.

Todd LeDuc went into the fourth race of the CORR Season’s eight events third in the Pro 2 standings and remained in third overall, 45 points behind the leader. Kyle LeDuc stayed fifth in the Pro 4 Class and Deegan was 10th in Pro Lite overall. “I didn’t have any mechanical problems at Chula Vista,” said Kyle LeDuc. “I slid into a dirt bank really hard on Saturday and a bunch of dirt went into the wheel and got it off balance. My truck was bouncing so hard I thought I had a flat tire, so I slowed down a bit and that hurt me.”

Pomona, California will host the next big CORR race of the season and the LeDuc family plans to turn things around. “We’ve done well in Pomona before,” said Kyle LeDuc. “We’re going to try and get pole positions and have good races. There is still a long way to go for the championship and Todd and I are still in contention.”
