The K&N 63-9034 Air Intake fits some Toyota 4 Runner, and Toyota FJ Cruiser models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N AirCharger 63-9034 air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-9034 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. This allows cooler, denser air to be directed through a custom molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver, pliers, socket set and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

Installed this on my 2016 4Runner LTD at less than 600km on the odometer. Love the growl at about 25-2700rpms. Fuel savings have not yet been noticed, but it definitely hasn't hurt. For 500 dollars this was a great way to make my new vehicle a little more fun to drive.

Overall, a great product and easy install. It took me about two hours by myself to remove the factory part and replace with the K&N part. It sounds great, and about halfway through my first tank of gas, I THINK i'm getting better fuel economy. The step by step instructions, including photos were nearly flawless. There were a few plastic clips holding the factory part in place that the instructions did not mention, but I was able to figure that out easily enough. My model has a horn that is in the way of the K&N airbag and the instructions DID address that, but not as clearly as I'd like. Finally, on step No.25, I somehow installed the mass air sensor backwards, resulting in the engine not running properly upon completing the install. I re-read the instructions and caught that mistake, but only after doing some googling to troubleshoot. If possible, the K&N part ought to be engineered so that this cannot be installed backwards. When the instructions say to use the hardware provided, there is some guesswork involved because the part comes with several sizes of nuts, bolts, screws and washers.
