The K&N 57-9015-1 Air Intake fits some Toyota 4 Runner, and Toyota Tacoma models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N 57-9015-1 FIPK air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-9015-1 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and vent lines. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using the existing factory mounting points and requires commonly available tools. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N 57-9015-1 Air Intake Product Reviews

Sunday, January 28, 2018 - Part 57-9015-1
2003 S-Runner 108,000 miles with factory installed S/C and headers. The new intake is a nice performance addition. Factory air filter box broke and this was cheaper and a good performance boost.

I had problems with the bolts that hold together the mass flow sensor to the intake. The four bolts where not aligning with the threads on the the intake. I had to do mess with it and some how I made it work. It's not perfect but I'm hopping it works. The rest of the installation went well, if you have some basic understanding on car maintenance you can instal the K&N intake.

This kit is very easy to install on the 2001 TRD Tacoma 3.4L . The only thing I did not like was having to drill a 1-3/8 hole for the crank case vent resonator, but I guess not a models have one. I'm already seeing a big increase in fuel mileage.
