The K&N 69-3537TS Air Intake fits some Ford Escape models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N 69-3537TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit specific Ford Escape models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. In addition to more power, this air intake system improves engine sound with more aggressive and deeper acoustics during acceleration. Included is a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the original air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive silver powder-coated finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory inlet air temperature sensor. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, ratchet set and 10 millimeter wrench.

K&N 69-3537TS Air Intake Product Reviews

Great quality overall, installed it on a Ford Escape 2014 2.0l Turbo and you can hear the turbo spinning like crazy sucking the air in :P also hear a very clear blowoff valve sound when releasing the gas pedal. Love it and would recommend to anyone who likes to hear their engine a little bit more.

My actual rating is 4.5 stars just because nothing is perfect. My K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake system was installed by my personal mechanic here in nearby Wake Forest, NC., at a 25K mile maintenance that included a full synthetic oil change featuring amsoil XL oil and a WIX oil filter. The Mechanic had some experience installing K&N kits before and it must have been a breeze because my car was ready 90 minutes early. The results are fantastic. The power increase is available at a very favorable power band whereby the RPM, Horsepower, and Torque all come together. The power boost is especially useful merging onto freeways or passing someone who is just poking along in the left lane and you need to pass and then rejoin the left lane. When pulling these maneuvers the increased throttle response is easily noticeable. The engine has a wonderful snarl' like a Cheetah or Cougar Cub (try the San Diego Wild Animal Park) and you will see. As for increased mileage, that was not of interest so I haven't checked it out though it appears to have increased a small amount. Yes, I would highly recommend this air intake system to anyone owning a Ford product with a 2.0L Eccoboost engine.
