The K&N 57-6012 FIPK air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-6012 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using the existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, a ratchet set, pliers and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N 57-6012 Air Intake Product Reviews

Tuesday, May 8, 2018 - Part 57-6012
This is my second time ordering a K&N intake system for one of my cars. The first being for a 4.7 liter Grand Cherokee, and now for my 5.6 liter Nissan Armada. I had gotten so used to the benefits on the Grand Cherokee I had forgotten what a big difference these systems can make. I wasn't connecting why my newer larger V8 Armada had such a weaker sound compared to my older smaller engine Grand Cherokee. Once putting this in the Armada, I had an Oh yeah moment. This system really helped get this engine the air it needs/wants. Much better acceleration, and more the sound I expect from a big v8. My kids are quite the fans as well. I try to keep it tame most the time but if I do have to open it up  a little, for the rest of the trip, from the back seat I have two little voices asking for more growl.

Best $300 I've spent by far on anything for my Armada. I felt the difference in everything: gas, gear change, exhaust, sound and the ac cold air ..
