50 STATE STREET LEGAL
Many K&N Intake Systems are street legal in all 50 states and include a California Air Resource Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number that ensures the kit has been tested to comply with emissions standards. EO numbers apply to the kit as well as the year, make and model it is being installed on. Systems with no EO number are street legal in most states but may not be used on emissions controlled vehicles in the state of California or other states adopting California emission standards. EASY INSTALLATION
Sound complicated? That's the great part, our air intake systems are easy to install. A typical installation can be done with a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet-set in 90 minutes or less! We specifically engineer our kits to use existing factory holes and mounting points, making installation simple. The vast majority of our cold air intakes do NOT require any cutting or drilling.

	K&N 57 Series Fuel Injection Performance Kits (FIPK) Our 57 Series Gen II Air Intake Kits (FIPK's) are built for many different vehicles and represent a dramatic improvement over a K&N O/E replacement filter alone; they use only non-metallic rotationally molded tubes that can reduce air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. Restriction can exist BETWEEN an air filter and the engine reducing the benefit of a K&N Air Filter. The weakest link in the airflow “chain” robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Often that weak point is the factory air path leading to the Engine. K&N Air Intake Kits virtually eliminate air path restriction by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into POWER.
	K&N 77 Series High Performance Air Intake Systems Our 77 Series metal intake kits for trucks and SUV’s combine outstanding performance and under-the-hood style. Many consumers will opt for the visual appeal of these kits. The metallic finishes are bold and beautiful. Our chrome-like finish parts end in "KP". Grey finish kits end in "KG".
	K&N 63 Series AirCharger^® High Performance Air Intakes Our 63 Series Air Intake Kits (AirCharger's) are a sister product to our 57 Series FIPK's. 	K&N 69 Series Typhoon^® Air Intake Systems Built for performance and show, the Typhoon^® Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit many sport compact performance vehicles. Each kit is proven on a rear-wheel dynamometer to increase horsepower and torque. Typhoon intakes come in one of three designs; cold air intakes (CA), short ram intakes (SR), or complete cold air (CCA) intakes which can be configured as either a cold air intake or a short ram intake. They come with an oversized High-Flow conical air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N O/E replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. The oversize air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). Some Typhoon Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. 	K&N Recreational Vehicle Air Intakes K&N plans to provide the RV/motor home market with our guaranteed horsepower air intakes. RV's can definitely utilize the extra power to get up to speed, especially on inclines, as much as any vehicle on the road. The factory air filter and intake track in these motor homes restrict air flow. The K&N Air Intake System is designed to provide excellent filtration while being less restrictive, resulting in more power.
	K&N 57S Performance Airbox Our 57S Performance Airboxes are special air intake systems developed by K&N, the inventor of the Million-Mile High-flow air filter. These systems increase horsepower and acceleration by dramatically reducing air flow restriction caused by the original factory design. A K&N 57S completely replaces the factory air box and air filter with upgraded high quality components. A 57S uses a fully enclosed air box assembly with a removable lid for easy access to the filter when cleaning is required. The 57S air box is injection molded for extra strength, consistency and durability. The 57S assembly is large enough to house an oversized conical K&N High Flow air filter and the entire product is backed by our Million Mile Limited Warranty.
	K&N Apollo Universal Closed Intake Systems The K&N Apollo CIS (Closed Intake System) is a universal air intake system incorporating a washable/reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter. The Apollo’s specially designed shape increases volumetric efficiency and provides the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. Heat build up is reduced which keeps the intake charge cool. Smooth internal features minimize air turbulence and maximize air flow.
	K&N 57i Performance Induction Kits As with all our kits, when you bolt-on a 57i intake, you will notice the difference the next time you drive your vehicle. Our 57i Gen I Intake Kits are a great way and in many cases the only way to maximize airflow and engine performance. They will replace the factory air box providing both High-Flow air filter technology and a larger air filter size. This winning combination will increase horsepower and sound great too.
