K&N's Universal Air Filters are designed and manufactured for a wide variety of applications including racing vehicles, radio-controlled cars, generators, snowmobiles, tractors, and other applications. Regardless of the angle or offset diameter of the air intake, there is probably a K&N Universal air filter for your equipment. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. K&N universal air filters are washable and reusable.

K&N RC-8410 Universal Clamp-On Air Filter Product Reviews

First of all outstanding throttle response for my GA16DE (EU-means non VTC). At least my new fast road cams, headers and exhaust found their air inlet companion to breath under minimum restriction. Some engines, such as mine, get more benefits with the shortest possible air intake, than cold air intakes and that's why K&N provides for this engine the K&N 57i system. Although, I didn't purchase 57i, because I have installed a front strut brace bar, so a higher cone filter than RC-8410 (110mm) wouldn't fit and my swapped from SR20DE radiator leaves no gap in front bumper, so I 've chosen the way pictured to bring some cold air to my filter (via front grill). Last but not least, Dynojet showed 118.8 hp@6100 peak power, compared to 117.2 hp@6180 with stock inlet, 4800 82.1 hp, compared to 78.4 with stock air inlet. Did I mention the superb quality of materials? Take it for granted.
