The K&N 77-2585KS Air Intake fits some Ford F150 models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N 77-2585KS high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Ford F150 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The 77-2585KS air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs onto the lower airbox. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive silver powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor, EVAP vent line and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers and several wrenches. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

Amazing fit and finish. In addition to the intake, I installed a 3 CAT back exhaust and Flow Master system. I couldn't be more happy with the overall performance.

Was skeptical it would improve performance, but reviews listed it as the number one performance enhancement for the 3.7L F150. Installation instructions are very good and took about 90 minutes to remove, clean and install. Improved acceleration and towing performance were noted immediately. Has boosted gas mileage by 10, easily, and the highway cruising has improved with less downshifting on inclines while in cruise control. Very happy with the unit.

I own a 2013 Ford F150 Supercab 4X4 3.7L, when I purchased this truck Ford advertised as 13L/100km, with the factory 17 tires I was only able to attain 15L/100km. This is city driving (@ 300m above sea level, 87 octane gas)) regularly ascending and descending from +630m. I up graded the truck tires to (Brand Name) TA mud and snow Tire. This tire upgrade was great, in snow mud etc, except fuel economy took a beating. My Fuel consumption jumped to 17L/100km. I was not sure of K&N and the claim of savings, I was sceptical of having noticeable savings per tank of fuel, a friend of mine had a setup similar to this on his Jeep it sounded great and he claimed fuel savings. So I took the risk, hey whats the worst that could happen? Have raspy sounding truck and maybe the same fuel consumption? Well I have some initial results, when I first installed it I enjoyed the remainder of the tank of gas, and lead footed it, enjoying the sound and noticeable pickup in response as well as having torque response change in the positive. After I settled down with a full tank, I was pleasantly surprised that I was seeing 15L/100km and occasionally and only momentarily going up to 16L/100km when I lead foot it. I will be going on a long highway trip soon and hope to be able to report back with my findings. I would also like to note that purhaps Ford's claim of 13L/100km is possible with factory tires, yet they really limit you to city driving.

I recently added a K&N Cold Air Intake and a Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust to my 2013 Ford F-150 with the 3.7 engine. I'm very happy with the quality of the intake, and the resulting performance increase. The truck was missing some low end performance and had a little hesitation during acceleration. Both those issues have improved substantially.
