The K&N AirCharger 63-3082 air intake system replaces your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-3082 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that replaces the factory air box. This allows cooler, denser air to be directed through a custom molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver, socket set and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

K&N 63-3082 Air Intake Product Reviews

Parts ordered where shipped and delivered very fast. Installation on My 2017 Chevy Silverado was fairly easy and no major hang ups. I use K&N filters on my Classic Chevy as well. Great parts and excellent performance.

I bought this intake for the sound and gas mileage mostly. Not really expecting much gain in power. It definitely suprised me though. After about a week of breaking in, I can clearly tell the difference in throttle response. Also made my truck sound a lot better. Only negative thing I have to say is that they sell it for way more than the material and production cost. (as always). Why put brass fittings in the tube and then give you plastic female fittings to screw into them? If you over tighten, they will just break loose and spin and or break because they are JB welded in the pipe... Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Wow! I have had a K&N on all 3 of my 5.3L Tahoe/Suburbans at some point, but this one by far pushes the OEM power and throttle response up. I think the computers on the 2015 really don't let all of the 327cc potential out, but this sucker lets them loose. Also good for me, but the engine is alive vocally for the firs time. With the windows open, the engine has that sound I'm used to on the older 5.3L (pre-2014). Haven't had it long enough to get any MPG gains, but based on other users, I'm sure they'll be good. Well at least after a month of so, because until then I'm gonna be let her push me back in my seat a bit....... its been a while.

Was very impressed in the quick installation time and how much more agressive my truck sounds.

I only had one moment. The air sensor looks like it goes onto the air sensor adapter either way. The directions or online video don't say anything about the alignment of the two parts.
