The K&N AirCharger 63-3073 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Chevrolet Corvette models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your Corvette’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-3073 air intake comes with a K&N carbon fiber top and flanged high-flow air filter that directs air into the custom molded intake for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

I have a 2009 Corvette and when I went to put the MAF sensor in the hole it was not big enough. I chequed to make sure that I had the correct filter and it was correct. So I dremeled the hole to function. The Maf sensor bolted perfectly to the housing. Then I placed the equipment together and spent the next 30 minutes trying to figure how to get the airfilter on to the housing and stay on It simply would not work. Finally it stayed and has done so since. It was a very frustrating install for such an easy conversion Not very pleased in this endeavor. My Camaro was sooooo much easier.

Good product, car seems to be running stronger. When installing the filter slips off the rubber fitting. The end that receives the rubber fitting should have a lip on it for the hose clamp to grab on to. Otherwise no problems with installation.

Best bang for your buck for a performance upgrade...I noticed the difference on the first drive after the the install. The installation was super easy. I reviewed the instructions ahead of time so it took a little over an hour from start to finish.
