The K&N AirCharger 63-1567 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Jeep models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your Jeep’s engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 63-3053 air intake comes with a K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. The placement allows air to be directed through a custom molded intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install requiring only a screwdriver, socket set and several wrenches. This air intake cannot be sold in California. It is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.

Your product is outstanding. The K&N cold air intake in conjunction with a special exhaust has allowed my 2.4 liter Patriot to gain a lot more than 5 HP. It really feels like a 10 to 15 HP gain. The value for money is good.

This is a Christmas present for me. So, therefore it has not been installed yet. I have three vehicles and two of them have K&N regular filters installed. The third one, the Jeep Patriot, will have the performance package installed after the holidays. I have been using K&N products now for over 30 years now, all of which have given excellent service and added performance. Gas mileage has also increased based on my driving conditions. I drive for performance and still get good mileage.
