K&N 59-5006 Marine Flame Arrestor Product Reviews

I had a discontinued K&N flame arrestor on my boat part number F010I4. When I called for a replacement, they did not have this one cross referenced and told me to call back with the measurements from the old one. This was a good replacement for the old filter and should be crossed with the old part number, it would have saved me a trip back to the lake to get measurements.

I bought this flame arrestor to put on my 2008 Stingray boat that has a Volvo Penta 4.3GXI V-6 engine, to replace the inferior one that Volvo uses, and also to actually filter the air. Using the specs on the website, I determined this was the closest fit, as there is not one designed for this application. It fit perfect and looks great. I'm somewhat relieved now that the air is actually going to be filtered.
