The K&N 57-3070 FIPK performance air intake system replaces the restrictive OEM air filter and air intake. K&N intakes are guaranteed to product more horsepower for your engine because they are designed to straighten and smooth the intake air flow. Utilizing a massive high-flow K&N air filter and a free-flowing, high density polyethylene tube, your engine inhales a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. A chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield comes with the 57-3070 air intake and are installed into the original factory air box space. The air intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor as well as a replacement crank case vent hose. The K&N air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N 57-3070 Air Intake Product Reviews

Product is good, definitely made a louder muffler sound. But the instructions it came with it were horrible to follow.

I had mine professionally installed, although after watching the mechanic install it, I realized how extremely easy it is to install. For the small amount of money it cost to have a pro install it was well worth it, in case a issue came up he would know how to handle it, even though no such issue came up. Cost me about $60 to have it installed professionally. Noticeable increase in power and nice aggressive sound but only when you kind of punch the gas in bit, during normal driving it sounds as it should. Definitely worth it and highly recommend getting this model opposed to the aluminum intake pipe material.

Easy install. During normal driving, intake sound is as stock but in hard acceleration sound is aggressive, but not too loud for a Tahoe. Nice product.

The printed instructions are nearly unusable, if you haven't seen the online video its impossible to install the system. I put this intake system on my wife's pickup, She saw an improvement in gas mileage and acceleration.

I have to say I am really impressed with K&N. I had a minor issue with my heat shield for the cold air intake on my Silverado. I just sent them the email with a pic and some info and they very quickly responded and have taken care of the issue. Nice to see a company that makes awesome products and stands behind them. Great investment for my truck

The intake itself seems to be pretty good. It sounds good, and from a subjective 'mash the pedal' feeling it does seem to have given our 5-year-old Tahoe a tiny bit more pep. I'm giving the product only three stars because of the atrocious installation instructions. While they did have step-by-step pictures of what to take off and what to do next, they failed miserably when it came to what screws and bolts to use at each step. All they said at each step was 'mount with appropriate hardware'. I'm sure I used the wrong bolts at half the steps, and I had to scrounge in my bucket of old bolts toward the end of the process rather than disassemble what I'd done to go back after what was likely the correct bolts. Jeez, even (Brand Name) furniture kits say 'two 6mm x 18mm bolts and two 6mm nuts in this step' for each and every step - no guesswork. Anyway, the product works once you can guess how to get it installed.
