The K&N 57-2591 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in some Ford F150 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 57-2591 air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the lower air box. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory EVAP vent line and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

I bought and installed this kit for my dad's 2015 F150. He is solidly satisfied with the performance. This kit is paired with Gibson Dual Exhaust and a SCT flash tuner. The truck sounds totally different now than it did before the air intake install and the power has definitely come to light. Especially with the Tuner squeezing the max amount of horsepower out of the exhaust and intake. The only thing I have to note is that from 2500 to 3500 rpms, there is a great deal of vibration caused by the motor. This clears up at a higher rpm however. I suppose it is just a sound the truck will make regardless of what material or metal the intake is made of. This isnt a complaint, just something to note. Maybe the engineering department will have plans to try to soften the vibration for future designs. The intake works as advertised. 5 stars

I purchased this intake on the recommendation of a friend. I purchased a new vehicle, and this intake was installed with the intention of improving mileage and performance. I figured that the best way to maximize the benefit of mileage would be to install as soon a possible. The installation was extremely easy - a driver for some hose clamps and a couple of nuts & bolts, and a razor for cutting the gasket strips. It was a virtually painless job, and it took under 30 minutes. I have seen a gain of just over 1MPG on my normal daily driving, and almost 2MPG on the highway. The unit will pay for itself by the end of this summer (The added deep throaty intake sound when accelerating is a nice side benefit.) Thank you for a great product
