The K&N 57-2581 Air Intake fits some Ford F150 models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N 57-2581 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in specific Ford F150 V8 models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. This air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the lower air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, crank case vent hose and EVAP hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, ratchet set and several wrenches.

The lag in acceleration is gone, engine sounds mean. I haven't noticed anything in mileage yet, though.

Easy installation. Most notable change is the sound of the truck under acceleration. Primary reason for purchase was mileage, not horsepower. Will make the MPG improvement after 4-5 tanks compared to 4-5 tanks prior to installation.

I am very pleased with the K&N CAI that I purchased for my 2013 F-150. The sound is awesome compared to the stock intake. I've noticed a slight MPG gain, it went from 17mpg to 18.5mpg in heavy traffic. We haven't been on a long road trip with it yet, so not real sure on the highway gain. The power gain is barely noticeable but it does seem just a tad more responsive on the throttle. As soon as the exhaust is upgraded I'm sure the power gain will be more noticeable. I'm not doing it for the power though, the mileage is what I'm after and it has passed that test so far with flying colors. I haven't had any problems thus far with the MAS as noted in some other reviews. More to come as we put some miles on it.
