K&N 25-3900 Air Filter Foam Wrap Product Reviews

Monday, February 12, 2018 - Part 25-3900
Not the designed usage. It's inside the fine copper mesh of an air filter (actually, a stone guard) on a 1930 Pierce-Arrow. I added some hardware cloth shaped like an open-ended cylinder inside, unseen, to prevent carburetor suction from pulling the filter material inward. Final installation looks factory but has actual filtration. Used this after not finding a manufactured cylindrical K&N filter to fit the dimensions of the factory can.

This product replaces your version of the Outer Wear, which was no longer usable after 1 season. I hope this wrap works better than the K&N outer wear did.
