Product Overview

  • High performance design for outstanding filtration
  • Allows for high oil flow rates
  • Easy removal by using attached 1 inch nut
  • Ideal for high compression turbo diesel engines
K&N heavy-duty wrench-off oil filters have a one inch nut making removal easier. The thicker canister increases burst strength while protecting against pulsation fatigue. The micro-glass media has very good cold flow characteristics while providing excellent capacity and efficiency. These oil filters have a premium HBNR base gasket for sealing, a silicone anti-drain back valve and a dichromate plated backing plate for corrosion protection. This heavy-duty oil filter was specially designed for a high compression turbo diesel engine's tight tolerances.

K&N HP-8032 Oil Filter Product Reviews

Always use K&N Filters... BUT for some reason AMAZON has a better price, you would think buying direct from the manufacturer they would be less expensive. ..Also Amazon ships faster...As far as the filter itself, they are outstanding.

I chose K&N filter for its reputation. It is a slightly longer than the original, but I had the clearance. I like the embossed nut on the end of the filter. I noticed that it had five drainage holes as opposed to eight on the original, but it may not matter. It looks well constructed. I wish that it had a white band around the filter; I like to write the date of installation on my filters. I will need to find a white or silver permanent marker now.
