The season finale of the AMA Superbike Championship takes place at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend. Michael Jordan Motorsports Suzuki riders Aaron Yates and Jack Holden will participate in the Superbike and Superstock classes.

In July, the Jordan Suzuki Team raced in an abbreviated AMA class schedule alongside the U.S. Grand Prix. At that time, Yates earned the team its first AMA Superbike podium with a third place finish. He also earned a second podium in the premier class at Virginia International Raceway. Yate's goal is a strong finish on Sunday to close a five-point deficit and move into third place in the overall championship. He is currently third in Superstock Championship points.

Holden also hopes to give his crew another podium finish in the AMA Superstock class. He is currently ninth in overall Superstock points and has earned three podium finishes for the Jordan Suzuki team this season. Holden also competes in the Superbike series on a 2007 Superstock spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 with K&N Engineering products.
“The crew has been working very hard on our Superbike and Superstock programs,” said General Manger Ken Abbot. “K&N Filters are a part of our performance program which helps us get to the podium.”
Yates and Holden will participate in the early morning practices on the 2.238 mile course on Saturday. Qualifying will take place later in the day to determine their starting positions for the final events on Sunday.
