Another K&N Employee, Tim Fleenor drove the 1955 Chevrolet from the K&N garage to UTI. “It’s an awesome freeway cruiser,” said Fleenor. “It was a very smooth ride.”

“We were invited to the institute,” said K&N Product Coordinator Woodrow Carroll. “The school uses K&N Intake Kits on its performance cars along with K&N Air and Oil Filters in its classrooms.”

Test cars with K&N Air Filters are used on the dynamometer at UTI. “Professors at UTI show the students they can add horsepower with K&N to the school’s roadsters,” said Carroll. “It shows the students there is a major difference in engine performance with the use of K&N.”

UTI provides technical training throughout the United States for students seeking careers as profession automotive, diesel, motorcycle and marine technicians. “People stopped by the booth all day to see the cars and talk,” said Carroll. “We answered questions of every kind about our products.”
