“It was a great night,” said defending World of Outlaws Champion Schatz. “We qualified really well. Our No. 15 ParkerStore J&J with Shaver power is a very good race car.”

Schatz and the ParkerStore Team use K&N Engineering products. “Our race team does extensive research and works closely with our product suppliers,” said Schatz. “We’ve seen the results of the K&N performance both on the track and in our research and development. The K&N Filters Carbon Sprint Airbox is simply the best product out there for us. It fits perfectly and provides the most airflow to the engine.”

The Fargo, North Dakota racer finished third both Saturday and Sunday in the 30-lap finale. “We had a good weekend when you look at the big picture, but I’m not happy unless I win every night,” said Schatz. “Florida hasn’t been that great to me in the past, but my crew did a great job all weekend. We got a win under our belts, although we would have like to have three. It didn’t work out that way and we’ll just have to shoot for a win the next time out in California. Overall Schatz took third in the Dirtcar Nationals Finale.

The Schatz Motorsports team will head west for two nights of racing at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California.
