Rick Beckstrom races two cars and his wife Patti Beckstrom does all the tuning. In 2005, the Novato, California duo used their combined skills to win the NHRA World Championship Finals in Super Comp at Pomona. They also came in 6th in the nation in Super Gas last year.

Rick and Patti use K&N Engineering oil and air filters on their vehicles. They have a 2006 undercover dragster with a 532 cubic inch big block Chevrolet. “We also run a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am with a 565 cubic inch big block Chevrolet,” said Rick. “We’ve never had a problem with dirt with K&N filters. We have longevity and more horsepower with K&N products.”

In addition to K&N's washable/reusable High Flow Air Filters, it offers four lines of High Flow Intake Kits that provide horsepower.

“We run our engines hard,” said Rick. “We push to 170 on super gas and 178 on the dragster, that’s a fair amount of horsepower.”

K&N started a revolution with Fuel Injection Performance Kits and AirCharger Kits, easy to install kits that replace the restrictive factory intake tract and allow a smooth flow of air from the famous washable and reusable air filter.

K&N Engineering maintains a stocking catalogue of over 3500 part numbers, including an extensive line of factory replacement drop-in filters, FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) applications, and a line of innovative Performance Gold oil filters.

K&N Air Filters and Intake Kits are backed by the famous K&N million Mile Limited Warranty.

Next races for Rick and Patti include Tucson, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada.
