The track was designed to be challenging for the riders and entertaining to the viewers. Both Dymond and Bidart qualified from their heat races directly into the 12 rider main event. Bidart currently leads the French National Supermoto Championship. He is 7th in the World Championship on Husqvarna.

Bidart was in heat race no. 1 in his SMR 450 Husqvarna. He shot out of the gate and took the hole shot to lead the field out of the first turn. He had a difficult time in one of the dirt sections and slowly slipped back to fourth.

Dymond’s heat race was next. Dymond was recovering from a broken leg and shoulder injury that was only a few months old. He finished a strong 3rd in his Husqvarna 610. A first corner pile-up in the main event affected Dymond. He was not injured and able to restart, but his machine was damaged and he was forced to retire from the race in 12th place.

Sylvain was not involved in that crash and was among the lead group. He ran a solid race in fourth place until the last corner. He was hit by another rider who was trying to pass. Slyvain was not injured and jumped back on his Husqvarna to take 6th place.

Now that the X-Games are over Micky Dymond will continue racing in the AMA Supermoto Series and Sylvain will continue to race in the French National Supermoto Championship Series.
