The Superstock race was smoother with no incidents. Thompson got a great start from the second row and immediately stating riding with the pack leaders. In the middle of the race he stepped it up and ended up in seventh position.
“We’re hoping to build on this performance,” said Team Manger Chip Spalding. “We want to take some momentum into the last three rounds of the season. We've used K&N Engineering products at every race. K&N air and oil filters do the job of protecting our engines from dirt and track debris. K&N also keeps us competitive with the factory teams.”
“Hopefully our incident free weekend means the monkey is off our back,” said Team Owner Kevin Hunt. “Ben is healthy again and riding really well.”
Next up for Millennium/KWS Suzuki will be in Alton, Virginia at Virginia International Raceway.
