Golden State Challenge Series Racer Bud Kaeding is after Series Trophy
K&N sponsored racer Bud Kaeding earned his fourth top-five finish in Golden State Challenge Series events. Kaeding is competing in winged sprint car racing in Northern California during the 2008 season.
Bud Kaeding is after title in Golden State Challenge
Kaeding and the BK Motorsports team finished 10th on Friday night in Chico, California then drove to Quincy the next day to compete in a Golden State Challenge race. Rain delayed the race but when it was finally time to start, moisture made the track lightning fast.

Kaeding cut a fast lap of 15.078 in the qualifying session placing the K&N Filters, High Five Pizza Maxim seventh fastest overall. Kaeding finished fourth in his heat race and was placed inside of the fourth row for the 30 lap main event.
The American Valley Speedway is a long track with two tight corners and racers have a difficult time passing. The two-time defending USAC Silver Crown champ won and Kaeding took fifth place.
“I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate K&N’s support and help this season,” said Kaeding. “We have a lot of dedicated people on board and we couldn’t race without them.”
Kaeding is currently fifth in Golden State Challenge Series points.
