Roger Lovell will campaign a Dirt Logic Shocks branded Ranger in XRRA (Xtreme Rock Racing) and brothers Brad and Roger have purchased a 44 foot race trailer for proper pit support. “K&N has devoted fantastic resources to our team for 2008,” said Brad Lovell. “With all our support we are ready to prove how dominant our combination will be.”

The new Lovell Fabtech Ranger features the most technologically advanced parts. It was completely designed and fabricated by the team. “We have dreamed of this opportunity,” said Roger Lovell. “Every piece is the best we could find, from a Spidertrax axle housing and chassis components and a new breed of Dirt Logic racing shocks from Fabtech. Everything for our new vehicle was designed in house. This is the first time we have run a really high dollar engine and completely trust K&N filters and pre-filters to protect it from the fine dust and silt that we will subject the new Ranger to. We also are using K&N filters to vent the crankcase as it is a simple and attractive way to vent the engine.”

Lovell Racing will field two trucks for the Hammers 50 mile Rock Race. Brad Lovell will pilot their new Fabtech Ranger and Roger Lovell will co-drive. ESPN commentator, SCORE Trophy truck driver and off-roader spokesman Cameron Steele will pilot the Lovell’s second Ranger with JeepSpeed driver Eric Filar in the co-driver seat.

“We are excited to bring some new faces to the team for this event,” said Brad Lovell. “Cameron and Eric are both very skilled and we are anxious to see how they perform in the rocks.”

Live coverage of this event will be available on Pre-race coverage will occur Thursday and the race starts around 9 am Friday February 22.
