Bought the replacement filter for my wife's 2013 Smart car. As usual the filter is great. Gave her 3-5 more HP and with her heavy foot it's a plus. The quality of the K&N filter can't be matched. We've had the K&N filters on everything from all 3 of our Corvettes, Acuras and Hondas to my Camaro to now her smart cars. This is her 2nd Smart car. Everyone needs K&N filters on every vehicle in their garage and beyond. Be it a resto-mod or brand new out of the showroom your only choice should be K&N Filters. We even use 'em for oil filters. For a few cents more why screw around with inferior products. Ever see a stock Smart car run the 1/4 mile drag strip taking on another Smart car? My wife would not do it unless she had the K&N filter in her car. Gives her that extra edge every time. Watch those baby cars fly..... If you have any doubts? Don't!! Make the smart choice. K&N Filters !!

If anyone is even thinking about purchasing a K&N air filter? DO IT. We have had them in everything from Corvette's, Camaro's, Acura's, to now our smart cars. Yes even the little cars deserve the best. If you think about it, getting three of the big box store filters and you would of purchased one K&N that will last longer then 10 regular filters. Increase of horsepower is wonderful. If your engine is a happy camper so is the rest of your vehicle and who doesn't want to breathe better. Quality? 5 stars Longevity? 5 stars Price? 10 stars, No matter what you drive K&N is the only way to go. Even the oil filters are fantastic. So take it from the old fat broad down here in south Texas, K&N all the way. And hey, the little sticker looks really cool on my back window. So do yourself a favor get-cha one of em.

I saw a K&N ad in the NRA's American Rifleman magazine. The filter is very well made and replaced the stock filter perfectly. My car does seems peppier, but mainly I was hoping for a really noticeable increase in (the already 45-48 mpg) gas mileage. Two fill-ups have shown a 0.5 to 1.0 mpg increase nothing really to write home about -but weather/temperatures are a big factor this time of year in the Northeast, so hopefully my average summer mileage will be bumped up to the mythical 48-50+ mpg range.
