What can you say about an oil filter? It works and I like the oil seal inside that keeps oil in the engine. I am happy
Leo Baker, New York
I would highly recommend using K&N oil filters.  I started using synthetic oil in my 2008 Toyota Matrix and changed the oil every 5,000 miles.  At first I was using stock oil filters on the car but began noticing that around 4,000 miles after the oil change the cars horse power would significantly drop and on cold days the car would run ruff.  I changed out the stock filter for a K&N and as soon as I took it out of the box and compared it to the Toyota oil filter, I knew the K&N product was a much better filter.  Since I have been using K&N my cars horse power does not drop off after 4,000 miles and ruff starts and performance on cold days is no longer a problem.  I can usually pick these up for about $15.00 and they are well worth the money.  I'm confident that synthetic oil and K&N oil filters will keep your engine running like new.

K&N Oil Filter
  • K&N Performance Silver Series
  • For Synthetic and Conventional Oils
Bill G., New Jersey
This is a well constructed filter. Other brands spend more on advertising than they do on the actual filters. Ask any mechanic or take one apart and compare it. K&N filters allow easier flow and have more filtering surface inside, this means cleaner oil and better engine performance because the oil pump won't be straining. I use both K&N air and oil filters in my car and I have noticeable better performance.

Ever since I found out about K&N Air Filters, I have tried all the products and they all appeared to be extremely high in quality and performance. I'm sold on them and won't use anything else.
Ed Ford, Marksville, Louisianna
To me, this is probably one of the very best oil filters out there. I've used K&N filters for a very long time on several different motorcycles and cars. I've never been disappointed in performance or protection. Currently, I have an HD motorcycle there's a K&N air filter in it; I have a 2006 Mustang , and when I thought of modifying it to increase performance, the 1st thing I did was install a K&N air filter Later I got serious and got a cold air intake system with a nice, big K&N filter on it. The oil filter I just got is for the Mustang, too. Overall, I've never been let down in any way by K&N products. I don't see that happening in the future, either. So, as long as I want better performance & better protection for my rides I will stick with K&N products.

It's really great. I can't wait to change my oil again.
Dale, Michigan
What to say? Well, it looks fantastic and as it's on a Mustang and in the front of the 4.6L motor you can see it. It took all of 20 mins to install and that includes jacking up the car w/jack-stands. Installed, started the car, oil pressure came up and haven't driven the car as it's in storage for the winter.

ATTENTION ALL SRT8 OWNERS. First.. proud owner of a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. This oil filter is a once in a lifetime purchase for your SRT8. YOU WOULD BE CRAZY not to buy this. The filter is built so well I just want to put it on my desk or something (IT’S THAT FREAKING BEAUTIFUL). I decided to go with the Pennzoil Ultra 0W-40 and let me tell you my engine temp went down by 5 degrees. I especially notice the difference when starting up in the morning, fire it up and it’s such a smooth idle. This filter is used by fellow Jeep SRT8 owner who does his thing at Lancaster Raceway Park. He swears up and down about this filter and how easy it is to clean. THE BEAUTIFUL PART... you can see the impurities in the filter during oil changes. The magnets embedded in the mesh screen pulls any metal shavings that would harm your engine better than conventional filters. In my opinion this is true high flow. It's a bit steep on the wallet however I would pay more if need be. Look I don't work for K&N but I'm one pleased customer.
