The K&N 69-3529TP Air Intake fits some Ford Mustang models. See vehicle applications link for details.
The K&N 69-3529TP Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Ford Mustang models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-3529TP air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and heat shield with an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber lid that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and accommodates the factory mass air sensor, EVAP hose and crank case vent hose. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

K&N 69-3529TP Air Intake Product Reviews

Great intake, really fast throttle response, super easy to fit, took about an hour. Just makes the car feel like a Mustang should.

I was able to get the intake kit installed in less than a half hour total time. I had installed an older version on my previous car and just had to have it on my new (2013) mustang the previous car was also a mustang (2001) that I drove for ten years before getting this one and if I should ever get another one I will also put a K&N intake kit on it. I haven't had it on long enough to find out how much my performance has increased.

Easy fit, easy install. The plastic air box cover had half the screws come loose after few hundred miles, but maybe did not tighten enough? Also, would be great if K&N included the rubber grommets that are reused from beneath the factory air box. My car was missing one, and good luck finding at auto parts store... have to go dealership or waste hours searching online. Seems like a 2 $ grommet shouldnt be a huge ask to include, at this price. Overall, havent noticed much in performance gains. Yes, I did blank the ecm and pcm. I ran a few tanks on reg, trying premium now. Sound is great though. You won't hear at low rpm, but above 4k you hear a more aggressive snarl, less raspy and v6-ey sounding than the stock 3.7s air box was. Gas mileage unchanged, but makes it harder not to push gas pedal. LOL! Oh well.
