Names like Joey Logano and Darrel Wallace Jr. are on that list, and only one other driver besides Byron has led from start to finish.

Also making it onto the podium in third was Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Dalton Sargeant. Sargeant is fresh off of a win in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West division. The 17-year old Florida native drives for HScott Motorsports in the NKNPS East series and has earned himself a seat with the first-year team Jefferson Pitts Racing in the NKNPS West series.

Of his win at Greenville Pickens Speedway, William Byron said “I couldn’t imagine being here 2-1/2 years ago, I just started racing, and winning a K&N Pro Series race is a dream come true.” Byron credited his success to the Liberty University Chevrolet team and the number 9 car saying “We had a really good car the whole race. We worked really hard the first two races to bring a good car. Once I did my job, we got it done.”
