Bogacki drove his American Race Cars dragster to a $5,000 victory over Chris Lindsay. He made it through the 200-plus car field and saved his best runs for last, posting .005 and .008 reaction times to defeat John Dowd and Brad Gebhardt in rounds six and seven. He then used a perfect .000 reaction and dead-on 4.815 to best upcoming NHRA sportsman standout Justin Lamb, before ending the night with a .008 induced dead-on 4.826 over Lindsay.

In the semi-final round Bogacki defeated the 2008 Division 6 Super Comp champion. In the second semi-final round, Bogacki won again and put himself in the running for a $7500 purse.

“What an incredible weekend,” said Bogacki. “There were lots of opportunities to make money and it was a good excuse to go to Las Vegas. To win two big races was icing on the cake.”

Bogacki uses K&N air filters. “K&N helped my engine perform the way it should,” he said. “I can also count on K&N for additional power and great filtration.”

In the 2008 season Bogacki claimed 4 IHRA national event titles on route to top ten national finishes in three Sportsman Class categories (Stock, Top Dragster and Quick Rod). He was also awarded the IHRA Sportsman Driver of the Year Award.
