K&N Typhoon® Powers 2005 and 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS To New Heights

RIVERSIDE, CA – Speed, style and value have been integrated into GM's newest sport-compact marvel, the 2005 and 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged. Powered by a boosted 2.0L Ecotec 4-cylinder motor, the SS was the prefect candidate for K&N's power-adding 69-Series Typhoon® Intake Kit. Repeated dyno testing on K&N's in-house dyno produced an 8 hp improvement with 7 ft-lb. more torque at the wheels.

K&N's 36-years of air filter expertise has lead to air intake systems that reduce heat soak, improve air flow and provide less turbulent air. Utilizing a high-flow washable and re-useable air filter combined with state-of-the-art, TIG welded, mandrel bent 6063 aluminum intake tubing and velocity stack base, the 69-Series Typhoon® creates more horsepower and torque throughout the Cobalt's entire rpm range.

The 69-Series (PN 69-4516 TS) is currently available in a silver powdercoated finish and includes stainless steel installation hardware, high-flow filter, K&N DryCharger® wrap and high-quality silicone plumbing. In just 90-minutes of wrenching every Cobalt SS owner can have a cool under-hood growl, gobs more torque and an underhood look to set them out from the rest.
