K&N sponsored Sportsman Class racer Mike Ferderer was inducted into the NHRA Division 6 Hall of Fame.

“It’s an honor to be recognized in the world of drag racing,” said Ferderer. “I want to thank my friends, peers and sponsors like K&N that support me.”

Ferderer finished second in the world in Super Gas in 2008 as well as 2009. “I’m sorry I wasn’t first but 2010 is around the corner and I plan to go for the gold,” he said. “I won 5 races and was runner-up at two in 2009.”

Ferderer has made a name for himself on the drag strip by winning many NHRA National and Divisional events over the years. He drives the K&N filters Pontiac Grand Am. “I drive the best car in the nation,” he said. “I have no plans to change my vehicle in 2010. I have used K&N products for most of my career and K&N helps me get to the Winner’s Circle every time.”

Ferderer is part of the K&N racing family and is one of the most recognized names in sportsman drag racing.

The Tacoma, Washington resident raced for the first time in 1969. His next race will be in Las Vegas, Nevada where he will compete for a large purse. After that, he will start off the 2010 season at the 50th NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California.
