K&N 57-Series FIPK® Air Intake Adds Estimated 15 Horsepower to 2004-2008 Ford F-150 5.4L

RIVERSIDE, CA - K&N Engineering helps 2004 to 2008 Ford F-150 owners with the 5.4 liter engine unleash extra Triton V-8 power. On the company's Dynojet 248 dyno, the 5.4L 57-Series kit (No. 57-2556) added 15 extra horsepower.

These K&N 57-Series FIPK® systems make power by eliminating the restrictive OE airbox and intake tract. In their place, K&N substitutes an aerodynamically designed intake tube that maximizes airflow. Each 57-Series air intake also includes a genuine washable-and-reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter, the innovative design that revolutionized the performance industry in the 1960s. Furthermore, every K&N High-Flow Air Filter is backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty®.

As with all other 57-Series FIPKs®, these Ford F-150 5.4 liter air intake systems are engineered for bolt-on do-it-yourself installation. In 90 minutes or less, the average enthusiast can remove the stock intake tract and add the 57-Series components. These intake kits include all brackets and mounting hardware, stainless steel clamps and reinforced-silicone hose couplings.
