“I’m happy with the result, but I want more in 2010,” said DiSalvo. “We ended the season in Salou, Spain where I ran in 12th position for most of the first race.” During the next Round 7 event DiSalvo was in 14th place until her motor began to cut out with only a few turns left. “There were two riders just behind me and I had to let them by,” she said. “I finished 16th.”

The weather was good in Spain, in direct contrast to the round in Ottobiano, Italy. “Racing in Italy is always interesting,” said DiSalvo. “The track was hard to find and the weather was cold. After six laps I could not feel my hands and it made it harder to learn the track when I could not feel the controls.”

DiSalvo drove her 450 Suzuki with K&N air filter, part number YA-2506XD and K&N oil filter, part number KN-207 to a 11th place finish in Italy.

Her season will start again in May, 2010 in the UK at the Santa Pod Raceway in Podington, Northamptonshire.
