K&N air intake system 69-6544TS for Mitsubishi Lancer
K&N designed a new air intake system (69-6544TS) with a silver powder coated finish for the 2008 to 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer with a 2.0 liter engine and 2010, 2011 and 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer with a 2.4 liter engine. K&N dynamometer tests show a 6.73 horsepower gain @ 5100 RPM with this air intake kit.

The 69-6544TS was engineered to work within the Lancer’s computer specifications while maximizing power. The K&N intake tube allows free flowing air into the engine which results in an immediate power gain.
K&N engineers used the factory fresh air duct on this air intake system to ensure an ample supply of outside air. The fresh air inlet is necessary as the factory air box is located near the back of the engine bay. K&N’s design positions the mass air sensor on the tube for maximum performance. These changes are key ingredients for additional horsepower.
A K&N high flow air filter (RU-4950) treated with 1.06 oz of K&N filter oil is included in this air intake kit. The K&N washable and reusable air filter is also isolated from high engine temperatures by the heat shield. This also contributes to the increase in horsepower. The high-flow technology invented by K&N provides the best balance of airflow and filtration.
