Right out of the box, this filter is awesome Construction and materials are solid as you'd expect from K&N. Installation is very easy...this filter virtually drops into place. Once installed I noticed an immediate increase in power, and a crisper more performance oriented engine sound. My truck has 150,000 miles on the engine and transmission, and the K&N Filter provided wonderful improvements.
