Customer Feedback

Used this and still using on 2005 GMC Sierra 5.3l base model. Increased mileage 2.1 normal driving, 1.1 mile heavy foot driving. Also engine sounded smoother at idle and smoother acceleration. Have used with Ford ,Nissan and Isuzu, all with a same effect.

I absolutely love my intake I have a 2013 Ford Fusion SE 1.6L, and I couldn't wait for this part to arrive. The instructions are very crisp and easy to read, and I had no issues with assembly. I have no experience working cars but had no issues installing the part myself. It is quite simple I removed the factory pipe and filter, after removing the inlet air temperature sensor and EVAP vent line connected to the pipe. Probably the most difficult part was installing the new rubber grommet into the pipe for the new inlet sensor, and ensuring you remove the correct bolt on the thermostat housing so you can attach the bracket for the new pipe. I left that bolt loose until the new pipe was fitted where I wanted it, then tightened the bracket. I took my time and installed it in just over an hour. I then took the car for a test drive on the interstate. The first thing you notice, (other than the unique sound) is the acceleration. With my old piping the car would accelerate sluggishly, even when the gas pedal was floored. Not anymore, acceleration is powerful and smooth. During cruise an increase of about 5-7 MPG was noticed. The MPG did take a slight hit when driving in the city, or anywhere with a lot of stopping and starting. This is a must have for any 1.6L Ecoboost owners

I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 two wheel drive.  It has 140000 on it.  Ever since I bought it smokes sometimes when I start it.  In general it has always ended up using about a quart of oil in between changes.  I read the kandn filter had an anti-drain back valve and a pressure by pass valve.  I took a chance and put one on on the last oil change.  It has not smoked once.  It has not used ANY oil and maintains great pressure even at an idle.  Thanks for making a that can give such great results for a very little price increase.
