K&N heavy-duty wrench-off oil filters have a one inch nut making removal easier. The thicker canister increases burst strength while protecting against pulsation fatigue. The micro-glass media has very good cold flow characteristics while providing excellent capacity and efficiency. These oil filters have a premium HBNR base gasket for sealing, a silicone anti-drain back valve and a dichromate plated backing plate for corrosion protection. This heavy-duty oil filter was specially designed for a high compression turbo diesel engine's tight tolerances.
  • High performance design for outstanding filtration
  • Allows for high oil flow rates
  • Easy removal by using attached 1 inch nut
  • Ideal for high compression turbo diesel engines

Customer Feedback

We are owner/operators with a 2009 International Prostar. We chose this air filter to help with the overall cost of replacement filters. We have the K&N air filters on all of our personal vehicles and love them also. Best INVESTMENT a truck driver could make!

I have tried K&N Air Filter (E-2999) in my 2013 Audi A8 3.0L fuel type and I have really noticed the difference in terms of performance, initial torque and even horsepower. When you start accelerating, you can hear the air flowing through K&N filter and it really sounds good. Moreover, I can estimate the increase in hp to be around 30 hp which is great by only replacing the original air filter to K&N. Note: make sure to ask you car service provider if you are allowed to use them or not in order to not lose the car warranty. In my case, I usually remove them before the sending my car for routine checks.

I just bought a new 2014 GMC Terrain and I did what I've done with the last eight new vehicles I've purchased I replaced the original factory air filter with a K&N filter. In every case, I've seen an improvement in fuel economy and an increase in horsepower. What's not to like about that?!
