The Filter Minder® is an air filter service indicator that monitors air filter restriction and indicates when the air filter should be serviced. As the air filter gets dirty, the yellow position indicator moves in the clear window of the service indicator and locks at the highest point. It can be read even after the engine is turned off. The air filter should not be cleaned until the yellow position indicator reaches the red zone.

Better than guessing if your filter needs cleaning or replacing.

Added one of these to my factory air box on my 2014 Mazda 3. No guessing on when to replace or clean my air filter. I like that K&N's version of the filter minder shows red at 10 h2O vs 15 or, 25. I did find it hard to find a 11/16 dril bit though. Lukly I remembered I had a Uni-Bit in my tool box.

I put this on my stock OEM housing with my K&N Air flter replacement for OEM Filter. Works great!!!I Improvised and just drilled a hole on my Stock OEM Filter Housing and adapted this. Used a similar set up years ago in trash trucks in Dad's Trash Buisness on Mack,Diamond Reo,GMC Generals, and Autocar Heavy Duty trucks!!!
