The K&N 77-2569KP high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Ford F150 and Lobo models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The 77-2569KP air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points requiring commonly available tools to do the job. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

Review part 77-2569KP
Friday, August 07, 2015 - Part 77-2569KP
I love this K&N Air Intake. Look's so much better than the stock Ford Intake that came on my 2006 F150 STX. The sound is Awesome I did not think i would be able to tell a difference in the sound but along with my FlowMaster Exhaust you can tell it's not stock, it sounds great, when you step on it you can hear the Air being sucked into the Intake. On MPG, I've been using it for about 2 week's now, I fueled up and almost run it all out before installing the new Intake, then fueled up again after it was installed and drove the same way back and forward to work. I can tell some change in MPG, it really does help. There is also a change in the  Throttle response and HorsePower. Installing this Intake is easy to do, and when you open the hood, It's the first thing that hit's your eye's. The only thing i had a problem with is the Intake tube had a spot on it about the size of a half dollar that looked like it had sand paper took to it, almost like the tube had been used before. But luckily it was on the bottom of the tube so when installed you never see it, so no big deal really. All in all i give this K&N Intake a 5 out of 5, I love it.
