The K&N 69-9756TFK Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-9756TFK air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive black powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and vacuum line. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a couple of screwdrivers, pliers, and some wrenches. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

Customer Feedback

This is not my first K&N product. I have always used them in all my cars (from 3 different Corvettes through Audi TT and just about everything inbetween). Always had great service from them, parts always fit like a charm, and they work and sound great. Would recommend them with no problem.

Bought it for a 2013 Volkswagen Passat 2.5L 5cyl. Not only did it make my car sound SOOOO much better, but it increased the power significantly. Also, I drive a little hard and I use to get about 8-12 mpg in the Brooklyn city. Now my average is 16.5 after driving it really hard. This is the best thing I ever bought for my car, and it only cost me about $50. Definitely reccomend everyone to put this in their car, not only for the power and sound, but for the gas savings. This filter will pay itself off just in gas money. Definitely putting this in all my cars!!!

Nice filter, but does not fit properly without breaking the plastic tabs on the cabin filter tray. I broke them off to properly seat the filter, without doing that dust will find it's way through and into the car, especially when the fan speed is turned up high. The tabs are only there to hold the paper filters in place, and does not serve any other purpose. So breaking them is just fine to seat the K&N filter Acura TSX 2007
