I put my cold air intake in my 2003 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T. It has more torque and acceleration. You can feel the difference when you get on it. And just the sound of my engine sounds better. You can also hear the air being sucked into your engine and when you let off the clutch you can hear it whistle. I highly recomend this to anyone looking for better engine performance and possibley fuel economy. It will pay for itself eventually with what I think is some better gas mileage. Buy K and N!

I already install a K&N in my Volkswagen Jetta and now the acceleration increase and sound are amazing!
Great product, great results!
I own a 2002 Volkswagen Bora 1.9 TDi Sport 150 with 85,000 miles on the clock. It's a high miler as I use it pretty much every day for work and I need to travel about rather a lot. The car is pretty quick but had developed a flat spot around the 800 to 1800rpm spot. In an effort to fix it, I purchased one of your replacement air filters (P/N 33-2128). It arrived yesterday and despite the rain, I went out and fitted it straight away, removing the extremely grotty original filter plus general muck and leaves from the air box in the process. And, of course, went out for a test drive to see if it had worked.
So, did it fix the flat spot? Hell, yes! It also enormously improved throttle responsiveness and there was a very noticeable increase in power with much better acceleration. My Bora felt like the sporty diesel it should have been in the first place! I managed to scare myself silly by activating the traction control system in *4th* while accelerating out of a corner. Now, that has *never* happened before!
I definitely recommend fitting one of your filters and only wish I'd done it earlier. Now, how do I claim for soiled underwear ..? :)
P.S. Why aren't your filters fitted as standard equipment?
