The K&N 69-8753TR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Toyota RAV4 II models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-8753TR air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive red powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and breather hose. The oversized, tapered cylinder-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a couple of screwdrivers, a ratchet set and some spanners (wrenches). Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

Satisfied customer. My 2001 Toyota Echo did not come with a cabin air filter for all these year i kept putting off. When the oil change guy said do I want to purchase one, I said no cause I did not no how to install it. Thank you [website] for showing me how to install it. Now I see myself couldn't live without one it saved my lungs. Thank you. I will buy the kit when it's time to clean it. I ended up with the best. Thank you.

Well I have been using K&N panel air filters for many years. I am a taxi in Cambridge, done 449,000 miles on a Mondeo diesel estate, 340,000 on a audi A6 diesel estate. Now just got a Toyota Avensis 2.0 diesel estate 10,000 miles, all these miles on above cars I had from day one a K&N air filters. Yes as soon as you fit air filter you notice the difference in slight more power, smoother, its a no brainer to buy and fit. Work it out about every 40,000 miles need to buy cleaner and clean the filter not because its noticeable driving car but it just looks dirty, every service you do not buy a air filter. Only a few services and you got your money back on the cost of K&N air filter.
