The K&N 69-8251TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some SEAT Ibiza III and Cordoba models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake which is designed to pull in outside air and dramatically reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-8251TS cold-air intake consists of a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter that mounts near the driver side wheel well directing outside air through free-flowing aluminum tubing. High volumes of clean air are delivered into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tubes have an attractive silver powder-coat finish that's made to last. The cold-air intake system accommodates the factory mass air sensor and breather hose. This air intake system can be configured as a cold air intake where the air filter is placed near the wheel well or as a short ram intake where the filter is placed within the engine compartment. The oversized cone shaped air filter comes with a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap to protect the filter from moisture. The air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

I've used a K&N air filter on my 2006 SEAT CORDOBA ( Volkswagen group ) with a 1.4 liter engine for 4 years. The product made the tiny 75 Hp VW engine run much smoother with a roaring race-car sound at full throttle and with better fuel consumption (about 6 liters/100 km). Great product. Now I am planing to install one on my new Honda Civic as well.

The 71-1561, 2009-2014 Ram 1500 and 2013-2014 Ram 2500 V8-5.7L HEMI, is a great mod for your RAM with instant results The instructions were good but some points I would like to share. I installed this induction system Friday the 13th of June, 2014. UPDATE: Re-installed on my 2015 RAM Sport Reference the IAT, Inlet Air Temperature, sensor two things to note. (1) Handle with care and confirm no debris on the end of the sensor, my application was blue in color. (2) Orientation of the IAT sensor should be in line with the flow of air inside the tube. Just take note how the IAT is positioned on the OEM intake tube when removing. I applied a very small amount of petroleum jelly on the oring, confirm you seat the IAT fully into the grommet and in the correct orientation. As far as the intake tube fitting many are complaining that they have broken, stating is cheap, etc., contacted K&N, which they have replaced for no charge great customer service BTW But if you follow the instructions it states the following: Plastic NPT (National Pipe Thread?) fittings are easy to cross thread. Install the vent fitting 'hand' tight then turn it two complete turns with a wrench. I used the box end with no problems/issues. The fitting will show approximately 3 threads left and I feel installers observe this and crank it down & snap the fitting. Bottom line of course is to take the time to read the instructions completely, then confirm parts and organize, then start with step 1 and have fun. Make it a slow process and enjoy the moment of your installation of your new mod Then as you stand back admiring your work, treat yourself to your favorite beverage. PS Don't forget to take before and after pics

Fast delivery. When I've put it I've start immediately the engine and went for a ride, this air filter gave more reactivity into my seat; for it's a very good surprise cause my normal mode is now as the sports mode. So it's working well, I'm just waiting to see if that' gonna save the fuel economy.
