The K&N 69-3300TP Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some FIAT Punto models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake which is designed to pull in outside air and dramatically reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. The 69-3300TP cold-air intake consists of a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that mounts near the driver side wheel well directing outside air through free-flowing aluminum tubing. High volumes of clean air are delivered into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tubes have an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last. This air intake system can be configured as a cold air intake where the air filter is placed near the wheel well or as a short ram intake where the filter is placed within the engine compartment. The oversized cone shaped air filter comes with a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap to protect the filter from moisture. The air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

I purchased a KN filter with Part no: RC-1060 for my Yamaha FZ-16 on February of 2012.The performance of my bike has been totally changed. The pick up has been increased, mileage has increased and my top speed I have attained after installing KN is 132kmph. Before it was 112kmph and also the sound is so fantastic.I don't rip my bike always. Usually I do 50-60kmph normally and some time I do rip and it takes care of both driving styles with out any hesitations....Today 04/08/2012 I have bought a new KN cleaning kit also for my bike...I am also planning to buy one more air filter for my car also. It is Fiat grande punto 1.3 diesel engine. Let me see the performance changes in my car also and will update once I get it.... Definitely I will suggest to all my friends who love to get good power and performance to their Machines...

Thanks  Regards,

I have a K&N replacement filter on my Fiat Punto 1.2, as soon as I put it in and pulled away at the garage I noticed the difference, heard the difference in the engine tone, and now with my performance exhaust fitted, boy it's nice, had a replacement filter on my old car as well, K&N all the way, you want quality buy a K&N.

Installed on a Fiat 500S 1.2. Installation was all pretty straight forward, the only slight problem I had was with the following instruction: Fit the supplied rubber cap to the vacuum pipe on the inlet manifold. (Fig. 9) The inside of the rubber cap just wouldn't fit over the vacuum pipe. Plus when you compare the internal diameter of the vacuum hose (which is originally fitted onto the vacuum pipe) to the rubber cap, the rubber cap is much smaller and I just couldn't get it over. In the end I just reattached the vacuum pipe and stuck the rubber cap down the end backward and then hid the pipe! So in the end it all worked out just fine. I have quite small hands and trying to get the rubber cap over the end of the inlet manifold was difficult for me, so god knows what ham fisted people do. Anyway.... the kit makes the car sound really nice and performance has slightly improved.
